Description:

Challenge, motivation, friendship and fun are what gifted kids discover when they attend the Summer Program at Northwestern University’s Center for Talent Development (CTD.)

The Summer Program receives global recognition as a premiere learning and life-changing experience for gifted students. CTD engages and challenges young people, age 4 through grade 12, with fast-paced enrichment, honors and Advanced Placement® courses. One, two and three-week residential and commuter sessions are offered. Students explore a single subject for the duration, delving deep through hands-on learning. Every year new features are introduced from cutting-edge course offerings to cultural activities, expanded dates, and additional program sites.

The Summer Program’s primary location is the Evanston, Illinois campus of Northwestern University, on the shore of Lake Michigan just north of Chicago. Additional program sites are located in the City of Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
